SAVANNAH – Martha Nell Swanson Brown, 86, passed peacefully, Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Bryan County Health & Rehabilitation Center. Martha was born on March 5, 1929 in Fitzgerald, GA. to the late Thomas L. Swanson & Myrtle May Swanson of Fitzgerald, GA. She was employed by the City of Savannah for many years. She was a member of Ardsley Park Baptist Church. Martha was preceded in death by her husband Quinton E. Brown, Jr. and five brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her son, Michael Brown and his wife Kimberly of Huntersville, NC, her daughter Teresa Floyd and her husband Mike of Marietta, GA. and her only grandchild Ryan Floyd of Atlanta, GA.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2015 in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with her nephew Reverend Wayne Swanson officiating.
